EdgeBox-RPI4P is a ideal addition to a standard fieldbus and expands the possibilities of conventional control systems. Simply connect it, configure it and you're done. HMI, Ethernet and USB are already standard equipment in EdgeBox-RPI4P. Networking and connecting USB devices are therefore possible at no additional cost. In addition, each controller can have a 4G/LTE interface with sim card for WWAN communication. Although most requirements are covered by the standard equipment of the controller, there is a modular second customized board for functional extensions and additional interface modules,include Ethercat interface for hard real-time communication. Moreover,there is a local bus for modular expansion,such as AI,AO DO,PWM or motion control. The EdgeBox-RPI4P controller can be delivered with a customized logo instead of the OpenEmbed logo.
